  • URGENT MESSAGE - Christmas Lunch update - Please go to the 'News' tab for an update of our Christmas lunchtime arrangements.
  • This Friday 28th November, Year 4 parents assembly with a theme of Animal Magic, 8.55 am in the Hall.
  • Year 5 London Trip deposit of £50 is required by this Friday 28th November.
  • URGENT MESSAGE = OUR EMAIL SERVICE IS NOT SENDING OUT TO HOTMAIL ACCOUNTS - Update - this should have been fixed but let us know if you are still not receiving them.
  • PLEASE HELP URGENT RESPONSE NEEDED - We have received an invoice for nearly £450 from the Essex Library Service for books that the school has borrowed but not returned. These books are not in school - so we would be very grateful if you could all search at home for any books that have been borrowed from school and return them asap, some of these could well have been from a few years ago so if you have older children it may be worth checking book shelves etc... Thank you for your support.
  • We have some excellent quality Tea Towels with self portraits of the children in KS1 and KS2 from the 2012/13 classes, that we are selling off for donations of over 50p, please see the school office if you would like some.
  • Job Vacancy - Clerk to the Governors - please see details in 'Our School' tab.
  • Children in Need - pyjamas and oneses galore were in school on Friday 14th November, you helped raise £395 which we will split evenly between Children in Need and School Funds, thank you for your support.
  • Praise for the ladies in our Community Choir!  See the 'Community Events' tab. 
  • Medival Madness overtook Year 2 this week and we had some lovely costumes, see the gallery for more pictures.
  • We have a new PTA Chair, we'd like to welcome Michaela Collie and look forward to working with her and the rest of the Association raising much needed funds for the school.  AGM update see 'For Parents - PTA' tab.
  • Following a recent change in advice from the Local Authority, would parents please note that it is no longer permissible for us to tape children's earrings for a PE session.  With immediate effect earrings should be removed prior to the activity taking place.  PE is a vital part of our whole school curriculum, which children cannot miss, unless injured. Children need to be able to take their earrings out and put them back themselves. 
  • Parent Consultation Evenings on 26th November from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm and 27th November from 5 pm to 7.30 pm, to book a time with your child's teacher fill in the slip provided or download one from the News tab.
  • We have new Winter Menus starting from 4th November, please see Menu tab in News.
  • Monday 20th October.  It's official!  Our WWI Commemorative Community Mosaic has now been 'opened'!  With a whole host of local dignitaries and people who have helped us research and create this impressive piece of art, our Head Girl Bethan and Head Boy George offically 'opened' the mosaic to the community.  Please see how we pieced together the project with the help of Heritage Lottery funding in the Community Events, 'WWI' tab.
  • Please read our latest Ofsted Report under the 'Our School' tab, we are offically a 'Good' School!
  • Swimming in the Summer Term - details are available in the 'News', 'Swimming' tab of how this will run next year.
  • Our Netball team had a great start to the year, read the match reports in the 'Sporting News' tab.
  • We now have a 'Closed' Group Facebook page for parents/carers and relatives to view, please see the 'Follow Us' tab to access the page.
  • After School Club - please remember that you must pay for this two weeks in advance, please see the school office.  Pick up times are 4.10 pm and 5.10 pm, please be aware that if you are late picking up your child you may be charged.
  • 2013/2014 SATs result figures are now available for you to look at via the School Documents SATs tab, see how we compare against National figures. 
  • The new school run After School Club started this term. It costs £3 per hour or £5 for two, starting at the end of the school day until 5.10pm. There is a copy of the booking form and more details in the Clubs tab under Our School.  Please note all bookings and payments need to be paid fortnightly in advance or your child will not be guaranteed a place.
