  • Snakes Alive came to visit today and Year 4 (except for a few reluctant people) seemed to thoroughly enjoy the afternoon.
  • Climbing Wall 'Come and Climb' taster sessions, £5 per person, per session on either Thursday 8th & 22nd January or 5th Feburary, 7 - 8.30 pm.  For anyone over the age of 8, parents/carers, older siblings or just interested parties, come along and try the climbing wall for a one-off session, no experience necessary.  Contact the school office on 01702 219435 with your name, contact details and the date of the session you'd prefer.
  • Christmas lunch got everyone in the party mood!  
  • Lost property is mounting up - with coats and jumpers!  Please, please have a look when you are next in school as we cannot keep unclaimed, un-named items and they will be recycled at the beginning of the new year, thank you.
  • Year 5 having been exploding their volcano models this week!  See the gallery for more pictures.
  • The KS1 Christmas production of 'Ralph the Reindeer' was a resounding success with our audiences raising over £144 towards future production costumes, thank you for your support.
  • Christmas Decoration morning on 4th December saw over a hundred and fifty parents and grandparents come and help make Christmas decorations with the children.  With carols in the hall and a hot chocolate and a mince pie at breaktime it was very festive and hopefully everyone enjoyed themselves.   See pictures in the 'Gallery' in the News tab.  
  • We have a new PTA Chair, we'd like to welcome Michaela Collie and look forward to working with her and the rest of the Association raising much needed funds for the school.  AGM update see 'For Parents - PTA' tab.
  • Following a recent change in advice from the Local Authority, would parents please note that it is no longer permissible for us to tape children's earrings for a PE session.  With immediate effect earrings should be removed prior to the activity taking place.  PE is a vital part of our whole school curriculum, which children cannot miss, unless injured. Children need to be able to take their earrings out and put them back themselves. 
  • Swimming in the Summer Term - details are available in the 'News', 'Swimming' tab of how this will run next year.
  • Monday 20th October.  It's official!  Our WWI Commemorative Community Mosaic has now been 'opened'!  With a whole host of local dignitaries and people who have helped us research and create this impressive piece of art, our Head Girl Bethan and Head Boy George offically 'opened' the mosaic to the community.  Please see how we pieced together the project with the help of Heritage Lottery funding in the Community Events, 'WWI' tab.
  • We now have a 'Closed' Group Facebook page for parents/carers and relatives to view, please see the 'Follow Us' tab to access the page.
  • Information on our After School Club: it costs £3 per hour or £5 for two, starting at the end of the school day until 5.10pm.   Pick up times are 4.10 pm and 5.10 pm, please be aware that if you are late picking up your child you may be charged. There is a copy of the booking form and more details in the Clubs tab under Our School.   Please remember that you must pay for this two weeks in advance or your child will not be guaranteed a place, please see the school office.
  • 2013/2014 SATs result figures are now available for you to look at via the School Documents SATs tab, see how we compare against National figures.
