Music
All children will develop an appreciation of music to allow them to become creative composers and performers.
Music plays an important part of Great Wakering Primary Academy. We believe our music curriculum should inspire all pupils to develop a love of music. Weekly curriculum lessons allow all pupils to develop their self-confidence and creativity when composing, performing and evaluating music. 'Charanga' music scheme is used to enhance the activity choice to practice the knowledge and skills in line with the National Curriculum. We encourage children to perform through the school music choir and band.
