Clubs & Music Lessons

MUSIC LESSONS DURING THE SCHOOL DAY

We are pleased to offer small group/1-to-1 instrumental lessons at our school provided by high quality tutors supplied by Essex Music Services. If you would are interested in your child having lessons in school, please complete the online lesson request.

This will only need to be completed once, and tuition will continue each term unless you choose otherwise. Many parents have used the same online system for instrument hire, registering for county music courses, and for music tuition discount vouchers, and on average the sign up process takes less than three minutes.

Lessons cost: £91.50 per 10 lessons.

Once the School has confirmed your request, you will pay for the lessons through the school’s online payment system.

Breakfast Club

Open from 7.30 am to 8.35 am, we offer supervised activities. Prices are as follows:

Children arriving from 7.30 - £5.00

These charges will include a breakfast. The children will have a choice of breakfast and a choice of drink which will include:

Breakfasts Drinks

2 slices of toast a carton of juice

2 crumpets a carton of milkshake

beans on toast a bottle of water

a bacon roll a cup of milk

a bowl of cereal

We request that all bookings are paid a week in advance online or the SCO app.

Afterschool club

The After School Club runs every school day during term time from the end of the school day until 18:00pm.

Reception and KS1 children will be collected from their class at the end of the school day.
After School Club will be divided up into 3 sessions:

• Straight after school up to 4:20pm = session 1

• Going into ASC after a club up to 5:20pm = session 1

• Straight after school up to 5:20pm = session 2

• Going into ASC after a club up until 6pm = session 2

• Straight after school until 6pm = session 3

The cost of these sessions will be:

Session 1 £5.00

Session 2 £7.00

Session 3 £10.00

A booking form MUST be completed and paid for in advance (booking forms will not be accepted without full payment).
No refunds will be made for non attendance.
If your child is collected beyond your paid session time, you will be charged the next session rate.

The School office closes at 4:30pm everyday. Should you need to speak to an After School Club leader between 4:30pm and 18:00pm, please contact them on 01702 219435 option 8. This number is only for the After School Clubs, please leave all other messages on the office answer phone

Extra curricular clubs

We offer a number of clubs throughout the year every week, before, during and after school. These clubs can change, either because they are seasonal or a set number of weeks or rotated so that all year groups can access them. Please look here on a regular basis to see which clubs are running for your child/children.

If your child would like to participate in any of the available clubs please complete the relevant reply slip and return it to the school office as soon as possible.

We will only notify you if your child has not gained a place and will also advise you if any more clubs become available.
