We continue to be a good school!
As you are aware we had a Section 8 ungraded Ofsted Inspection on the 28th and 29th January 2025. The purpose of a Section 8 Inspection is to confirm whether the school maintains good standards. It does not result in individual graded judgements or change the overall effectiveness grade of the school.
I am extremely proud of the high recognition the school has achieved for the personal development and character building of our children which is an ‘integral part of everything the school does’. Within the classroom, I am pleased that our ongoing reflection and development of teaching and the curriculum has been recognised through early reading and mathematics being identified as ‘high quality’, the curriculum being ‘coherently planned’ and delivered through ‘clear and concise’ teaching and ‘all pupils, including those with SEN, progress well from their starting points.’
The inspection process was very detailed and feedback received over the two-day inspection was extremely positive and reflected the hard work and commitment undertaken by all in the school community.
We are very proud of our achievements as a school and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who was involved in the inspection; staff, trustees, pupils and parents.
